There are countless benefits of massage therapy on every system in our bodies. Massage can facilitate physical healing and is an effective tool for managing stress, which can translate into:
Decreased anxiety.
Enhanced sleep quality.
Greater energy.
Improved concentration.
Increased circulation.
Reduced fatigue.
Gabriel Joffe (they/them) is a licensed massage therapist and member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Since completing their training at The Massage School in 2017, Gabriel became an independent practitioner at Davis Square Healing Arts in Somerville, MA. They draw from a variety of deep tissue and relaxation techniques to address the specific concerns of the client, promote relaxation, and reduce the effect of both physical and emotional stress on the body.
Gabriel aspires to create a welcoming space for all clients and finds power in the idea that "there is no neutral body from which our bodies deviate" (to quote Aurora Levins Morales). Gabriel is also passionate about increasing access to bodywork especially for LGBQ, transgender, and non-binary clients.
